Sylvia Dieckmann is a Developer at Praekelt.org and a GDG Cape Town co-organiser. She will be speaking about initial Flutter setup and will run through a simple Hello Flutter example app.

Dan Wells is a full-stack developer and co-founder of EskomSePush (a load shedding timetable app). He has also worked at various high-profile South African tech companies, such as Telkom, Entersekt and Takealot. He will be speaking about his experiences in using Flutter to develop the EskomSePush mobile app.

Ewald Horn is a mobile developer, with a special focus on the unique challenges of the African continent. He will be speaking about the lessons he learned in moving from Java and Kotlin to Dart and Flutter for his Android development.

As usual, drinks, snacks and some swag will be provided for attendees. There is on-street parking in close proximity to the venue.
