Happy New Year! We are kicking off 2019 with an event focused on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) ☁️

We'll also be recapping DevFest South Africa (https://devfest.co.za/) which took place in Johannesburg on December 1st 2018.

Dale Humby is CTO at Nomanini and a Google Developer Expert for Google Cloud. He will be speaking about Nomanini's journey from an App Engine monolith to microservices running on Docker and Kubernetes.

Reuben Honigwachs is a GCP Cloud Architect and GDG Cape Town co-organiser. He will talk about the current challenges with IoT and how products such as GCP Cloud IoT Core can help.

As usual, drinks, snacks and some swag will be provided for attendees. There is on-street parking in close proximity to the venue.
