Explore the cutting-edge capabilities of Generative AI in this interactive, hands-on workshop! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced developer, this session is a great opportunity to learn, experiment, and network with fellow AI enthusiasts.
Level 2 of Marie Reay Teaching Centre (Building 155)
Learn how to build a photo to geolocation guessing application using Gemini 2.0 LLM. You will use photos of popular tourist destinations and a prompt to ask Gemini to guess the exact location of the landmark with geocoordinates. Upload any photo of a place and use Gemini to determine the location and how it reached that conclusion. This practical and helpful workshop is a fun project you can use very creatively.
It is a low-code, beginner-friendly workshop that reveals Gemini's multimodal powers. Knowledge of Python and Streamlit is desirable to follow along with the code example, but it is not required. There is nothing to install; you will use Google Cloud Shell and the Cloud Shell editor to make the code changes. You will also deploy the Streamlit Python app on Google Cloud Run with the click of a button. Join in and learn how to use Gemini for something pragmatic in under an hour.
