The Women in Data Science conference (WiDS) Cairo is a one-day conference that will bring data scientists together to share cutting edge research and important topics in our region.

WIDS Cairo provides an opportunity to hear about the latest data science related research in number of domains, learn how leading-edge companies are using data science for success, and connect with potential mentors and collaborators in the field.

There is a lot of interest in the field but most people don’t make it up the career ladder in data science, so we aim to empower candidates in the region with more practical insights and direction from experienced and top calibers in the field, by providing a community and events to share their experience.
