International Women's Day (IWD) is marked on March 8th every year. In different regions, the focus of the celebrations ranges from general respect and appreciation for women to a celebration of women's economic, political, and social achievements.

Every year at each IWD event, Women Techmakers Buea highlights and celebrates the success stories of her ever-growing female community of designers, developers, and technology entrepreneurs.

IWD Buea 2020 - Tech Style will be a three-day event that will consist of a two-day: hackathon and a full day: tech conference, consisting of tech talks, codelabs, fireside chats and icebreakers.
This year, our goal is to bring 200 women together, to learn, connect, inspire each other and share ideas.
