In this 4-week course, you will learn the basics of Flutter together with some useful development techniques.The Bootcamp is designed to take you from minimal experience to building an application.

You will learn through a mix of live sessions (1 hour a week), hands-on labs, peer-to-peer support and a capstone project to showcase the knowledge gained over the course.

At the end of the course a Qwiklabs badge will be awarded to your account. During the workshop, please feedback any issues encountered so we can make this the best course possible.

Sessions:

Week 1 - Getting started: Introduction to Dart and Flutter. Understand the basics of the Dart SDK. Learn the fundamentals of the Flutter Framework. Create your first Flutter application.

Week 2 - Front-end: Learn how Flutter organises on screen elements with Widgets. Add interactivity and move from a single to multi page applications.

Week 3 - Back-end: Introduction to Firebase (auth & database), Google Services and Serverless. Learn how to consume external services from a Flutter application.

Week 4 - Mentoring & showcasing: Get help from mentors and showcase your app to your peers to get feedback.
