Join us for the second iteration of the “Discussion on Privacy-preserving UI/UX Design” workshop evaluation of a research study by the Chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems (sebis), Technical University of Munich (TUM).
This online workshop builds on the success of our first session, where we introduced a Pattern Catalog for Privacy-preserving UI/UX Design. In this second round, we focus on refining and evaluating the catalog with designers and developers through applied exercises and structured feedback.
By attending, you will:
Gain early access to the updated catalog of privacy-preserving design patterns.
Participate in scenario-based design activities that test the catalog’s real-world applicability.
Share your insights on how privacy can be more effectively integrated into UI/UX practice.
Contribute directly to academic research shaping the future of privacy-preserving design.
What to expect during the workshop:
A short recap of our research and catalog improvements since the first workshop.
Interactive discussions on the challenges of integrating privacy in design.
Practical design scenarios where you apply and reflect on the catalog’s recommendations.
An online survey to provide structured feedback that will directly inform the catalog’s final refinement.
This workshop offers a unique opportunity to shape design guidelines that make privacy more accessible, actionable, and relevant to everyday design practice.
