About this event

We're holding casual study sessions on Cloud Hero Labs, to prepare for Cloud Next Extended!

Cloud Next is Google's annual cloud computing event, and this year will be 9 weeks long, with webinars and labs released weekly.

Cloud Hero labs are guided exercises on Qwiklabs where you get hands-on experience with cloud services.

The theme this week is Cloud AI. Below are the available labs:

Cloud AI Lab

  • AI Platform: Qwik Start
  • Entity and Sentiment Analysis with the Natural Language API
  • Compare Cloud AI Platform models using the What-If Tool to Identify Potential Bias
  • Reinforcement Learning: Qwik Start
  • Awwvision: Cloud Vision API from a Kubernetes Cluster
  • Implementing an AI Chatbot with Dialogflow
  • Kubeflow Pipelines with AI Platform

When RSVPing, please select which labs you are interested in, and we will choose two to do during the session.

The aim of the casual study sessions is so that interested people can go through labs together. We will give a short introduction to the chosen labs, then people will go through their desired labs at their own pace. If you bump into questions, just ask in the chat. We are here to learn together!

Fully completing labs will give you badges and skill badges that you can show off on LinkedIn!

You can join in using Google Meet in one of three ways:

1. From the comfort of your own home

2. From DST's Innolab at their main headquarters at Lebuhraya Tungku (Wifi and Desktops provided)

3. From LiveWIRE at the Progresif Building (Wifi provided only)

DST and LiveWIRE have kindly allowed use of their facilities for this event. You may make use of it for the sole purpose of participating in this webinar. To book a spot, please RSVP for the appropriate ticket option. Spots at Innolab and LiveWIRE are limited and distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis.

See you in the cloud!
