New entrepreneurs often struggle with limited resources and resort to wearing many hats within their fledgling business. Process automation would reduce a lot of the pressures of this phase of entrepreneurship but founders often worry about the costs of developing such tools, even if it would greatly help in streamlining their operations.

This workshop will walkthrough the tools and resources available through Google Workspace and will introduce Google Apps Script in creating automated processes via Google Sheets. Participants will then get an opportunity to design a process workflow for their business then create and run a basic script to automate it.

This workshop is for absolute beginners and no tech or coding experience necessary.

This workshop will be held in conjunction with the celebration of the 17th National Youth day in Brunei.

His Majesty has proclaimed 1st August as National Youth Day in recognition and appreciation of the youth movement in the country. This year’s celebration is on 9th August 2022. The theme for 2019-2022: “Belia Siaga Masa Depan”. The theme means that the future promises the youths as the inheritors of the nation and country. The survival of the nation and country lies with the youth. High expectations for the youth coincide with their role as national assets. This year, the format of the event will be a 3-days convention (9th- 11th August), and hands-on tech workshops are one of the expected activities at the event.
