A casual coding space where you can bring your projects and meet other developers.
We will also run a Solution Sprint mini game at the same time.
Solution Sprint (No RSVP needed, starts promptly at 7):
You will be given a Challenge on the day. Team up and work with other developers to build a prototype in 2 hrs.
This is meant to be a fun exercise: at the end of the day whatever you build will be yours. The goal is to flex your programming muscles and get them ready for DevFest. Bring your laptops!
The theme this week is: Dialogflow
Dialagflow is a Google product used to build conversational chatbots. You can integrate the chatbot into a variety of platforms, including Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Slack, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger and more.
The Challenge will be released at 7pm sharp.
Solution Sprint Prerequisites:
- It is preferred if you know Dialogflow or have attended the previous event: Building a Chatbot with Dialogflow. Or you can come on the day and learn from the internet.
- Participants will be left to their own devices with minimal supervision: be prepared to use Google!
- Bring a laptop
