About this event

Build with AI events are community-led, hands-on activities hosted by Google Developer Groups and Google Developer Groups on Campus from February 1 to July 31 2025.
These events aim to help developers acquire and apply Generative AI skills to build and integrate applications using the latest Google AI technologies, including AI Studio, the Gemini and Gemma family of models, and Vertex AI.   
Build with AI events include technical workshops with agendas tailored to local attendee skill level and product availability. Developers from all segments (including backend, Android & Flutter developers) and all skill levels can benefit.

2:00 AM	Ananda Dwi Rahmawati \| Leveraging AlloyDB and Vertex AI for an LLM- and RAG-Based Chat Application	In this session, you'll learn how to build a reliable and scalable infrastructure for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-enabled generative AI applications using Google Cloud’s Vertex AI. RAG enhances the performance of generative AI by integrating context-specific, non-public data into prompts to improve the accuracy of Large Language Model (LLM) responses. You'll explore how to leverage Google Cloud's robust tools, such as AlloyDB for vector storage and semantic search, and how to use Vertex AI’s powerful capabilities, including the Gemini Pro multimodal model, to create an intelligent, scalable solution. This session will cover the architectural considerations, best practices, and key integrations to deliver an efficient, production-grade RAG-powered AI application.
3:00 AM	Abdul Qoyyuum Haji Abdul Kadir \| How to build Model Context Protocol for your LLM	Claude Desktop is one of the many LLM chatbot and desktop app available. Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a tool that enables LLM to access and use resources. By giving MCP to an LLM, we give them super powers to do many things! This is a workshop setting that allows and involves participants to join in and code at the same. It is expected that the participants knows how to use an IDE like Visual Studio Code, the basics of Python, Docker, have a valid Google Cloud Console account (for Google Gemini API key) and have Claude Desktop installed.
