The GDG Braunschweig proudly presents to you an introduction about the new Firebase - Cloud Firestore Database. We have guest speakers directly from the google/firebase team visiting Braunschweig for this event!

Speakers:

Sam Stern is a DPE, which means he mostly writes open source samples and libraries (like FirebaseUI) to make Firebase development easier. He works on a lot of areas, but focuses on our backend services (Firestore, RTDB, Functions, etc.). And he’s the team's designated Android nerd.

Tina Skublics is a software engineer on the Firebase console backend, which focuses on provisioning and managing resources for Firebase projects. Her work includes integrations such as Crashlytics BigQuery export, as well as support for selecting Cloud resource locations.

Rachel Saunders is a technical writer for Firebase, which means she writes developer and reference docs for various Firebase services and tools, like Firebase Hosting and the Firebase CLI.
