Presentation Details

This is the first part of a serial group of talks, "Wild Storage for Android Developers"

Usually, in the Android world, we need to have some kind of storage. Depending on the needs of our application we need to be aware of the integrity of the data and performance. The talk will cover

- Performance for databases

- Threading and Concurrency

- DataStore and shared Preferences

At the end of this talk, you should be able to understand how Room, DataStore, and Shared Preferences work and how to improve performance of queries. Threading using coroutines and secondary dispatchers are also part of the discussion.
