About this event

Flutter is a new mobile UI framework from Google that allows developers to build multi-platform native apps (for Android and iOS) from a single codebase (Dart). It's expressive, performant - and open-source. (https://flutter.io/)

Flutter is used by Google and developers and organizations around the world to deliver beautiful native apps. Flutter is still in beta, however, large enterprises such as Alibaba, and Tencent have already hopped on the Flutter bandwagon.

On December 4th, the Flutter team will be hosting Flutter Live - a day of talks and updates on Flutter. (https://developers.google.com/events/flutter-live)

Join us for a streaming of the Flutter Live keynote followed by an introductory hands-on Flutter workshop. In this workshop, we will aim to get you setup and writing your very first Flutter app. Regardless of whether you have a web background, or are an experienced mobile developer, all are welcome to this workshop. Flutter uses Dart - a productive language which is very quick to pick up (https://www.dartlang.org/).

Agenda:

6:00pm - 6:30pm - Dinner (not pizza) & networking
6:30pm - 7:45pm - Flutter Live Keynote & Talks
7:45pm - 9:00pm - Introductory hands-on Flutter Workshop
