The form is required and should be filled, before attending this GIRLS-ONLY session.
Have you ever received a message that doesn't give you a good vibe?
Or have you ever felt that your data is being retrieved without your consent?
What you do when you experience something like this, disconnect from social media or change the content you share online?
Remember you are not alone. Many face the same.
And, it's high time, we stop taking a step back from social media.
Rather it's time to speak up and discuss ways in which we can protect and defend ourself online.
So, we are taking an initiative to start a conversation about Women's Online Safety with "Online Safety for You".
It's a GIRLS-ONLY session which focuses on discussion about being safe online.
We realise that this might not be the ideal conversation topic. Some of you might be emotionally uncomfortable. And, to make this a safe comfortable space for conversations to flow, we have invited Ms Chahak Chugh, a Mental Health Speaker, who's been vocal about these consequential issues.
Along with her, we have invited Mr Sameer Khan, Co-Organizer, GDG Bhopal, who is bringing resources from the Women Techmakers Community of Google, along with studies from Jigsaw, an Alphabet company focused on making the web safer for everyone, and learnings from activists and speakers such as Ms Rana Abdelhamid.
Join this GIRLS-ONLY session to keep yourself safer online. The link to attend the session on Google Meet will be sent in the mail to you and on our WhatsApp Group.
