This talk covers how to do certain lower-level systems-programming tasks safely in Golang. I'll briefly talk about the scheduler and some specifics of threads on Linux. I'll list some common lower-level operations you might wish to do, and how to do them safely (and when you can't). Finally, I'll touch on some changes coming in Go 1.10 that will improve things.
