About our speakers:

Mat Ryer

Mat has been coding Go before its v1 release (when os.Error was still a thing) after falling in love with its simplicity and elegance. He’s a regular contributor to open-source projects (Testify, Silk, Moq, BitBar) and writes about Go on his blog ( In 2015 he published Go Programming Blueprints and is following it up with a Second Edition.

Konrad Reiche

Konrad is a backend developer at working on a video livestreaming platform in Go, mainly implementing microservices with Go Kit. Before that he worked two years in London for an audio streaming company. His first Go application was jukebox powered through Slack on a Raspberry Pi.
