Steve Francia (@spf13) has the unique distinction of having held leadership roles in five of the world's largest open source projects. He is currently the product lead of the Go language at Google. He previously held executive/director roles at Docker, MongoDB, and the Drupal Association leading engineering, product, operations, and open source. He is the creator of Hugo, Cobra, Viper, spf13-vim and many additional open source projects. He is a published author, speaker, developer, mentor, and above all of these, a father of 4. Outside of technology Steve likes travel, skateboarding, punk rock, and dystopian films.
