Code, CI, Infrestructure - the Gophers Way / Alex Baitov

Golang becomes pretty powerful. There are plenty of everyday Golang tools. I will show you that we built infrastructure mostly consists of tools written on one language - Golang. What benefits did we gain from writing an application on the language of its infrastructure. And I will describe how we use Golang in production at 2GIS.

Optimizing application performance or finding the root cause of a performance issue in production Go applications requires continuous execution insights, such as hot spot and bottleneck location with line-of-code precision. In this talk I'll show how to profile and monitor Go applications in production using StackImpact profiler.

Andreas Krennmair, TravelAudience

Andreas is a software developer at travel audience, where he has worked on multiple Go applications including advanced real time use cases. He has used Go for private projects since late 2009, and professionally for about 3 years

Alex Baitov, 2GIS

Alex is a senior backend developer at 2GIS, an international tech company, developing software for convenient city living. The main product, 2GIS City Information Service, is currently used by over 40 million people. Alex worked with php, javascript, python, go, scala, and aims to widen and deepen his of knowledge programming languages, team leading, networking, continuous integration/delivery/deployment and software architecture. He tries to take different points of view and wants to share with you his investigations.

Dmitri is a software engineer building, profiling and monitoring products for the last several years. He is the founder and & CEO of StackImpact.
