In this talk Tiago will show some live-coding example of how to use and test timeouts to allow for more reliable micro services.
Ole will show two different ways to create or generate a simple web user interface that lets you edit the content of a relational database.
With 5+ years of experience in software development, Tiago have worked with many different programming languages (Go, Java, Kotlin, Python, Javascript, etc), for the last couple of years, however, his focus has been Golang. At Onefootball Tiago is working as a Software Engineer and Competence Area Owner, which means he has the opportunity to write code on a daily basis, as well as define company-wide (or team wide) standards by introducing new technologies and best practices.
Ole is a back end engineer since the nineties. He has been working for many companies big and small and seen many projects fail or succeed. Currently he loves to be part of the vibrant startup life in Berlin while working on a Go back end for OptioPay. In his spare time he is co-leading the Berlin chapter of GDG Golang, enjoys time with his family including two cats and takes part in a broad range of old and new activities from hiking to motor cycling and from meditating to boxing.
