Join us for the first Berlindroid meetup of the year. We'll have the following two talks. Falko Richter & Ronaldo Pace: Building an open source Android SDK - What we´ve leaned The Sensorberg Android SDK is open source since 2015. We would like to share our learnings from building, maintaining the SDK. All topics will be backed by open source examples enabling everyone to pick up the progress we've made. Said Tahsin Dane: Android Things: In & Out Android Things is the new version of Android designed to run on small connected development devices like Raspberry PI, Intel Edison etc. It runs Android Nougat and lets you build connected devices for a wide variety of consumer, retail, and industrial applications. Like always, there will be plenty of time for socializing. We're always happy to see both first timers and regular attendees. Feel free to join, or recommend us to your friends and coworkers. In this talk, we will talk about what it is and how you do Android development with it. Then we will briefly compare with the other alternative solutions. Lastly, we will see how easy it is to connect Google’s Firebase infrastructure to have cloud connected devices.
