About this event

Need another Android fix? droidcon Berlin is so far in the past you can hardly remember it? Don't worry, we've got you covered. Join your fellow Android developers to talk about… Android!
This month we have the following talks for you:

Natalie Pistunovich: Developing apps for developing countries

Developing apps for developing countries introduces new challenges: the smartphone is the main device, the internet data is limited due to infrastructure, and the demand is different. In this talk we'll see what are the initiatives to bring in more connectivity, what apps and connectivity are like in developing countries and what should you have in mind when developing such apps.

Volker Leck: Flag 'em - lessons from playing Minesweeper

The talk summarizes some experiences the author made while fiddling with a playground project, putting it into different contexts. We'll see how modularization is key when tackling new environments and how modern Android tooling (Gradle) can bring these different aspects under one umbrella.

Of course there will be plenty of time to socialize and enjoy cold beverages. See you there!
