This workshop will walk you through the absolute basics of Go; what it is, what you can do with it, how the syntax is, what's in the standard library. We will also dive a little deeper into some concepts where Go differs from the rest of the crowd and finally we'll finish with some hands on tutoria

Join us for an introduction to Google's

This workshop will walk you through the absolute basics
of Go; what it is, what you can do with it,
how the syntax is, what's in the standard library.
We will also dive a little deeper into some concepts
where Go differs from the rest of the crowd
and finally we'll finish with some hands on
tutorials where you can try out Go for yourself.

Prerequisites

- Bring a laptop.
- Make sure you have an editor or IDE you're
comfortable with. VS Code or IntelliJ are good options.
- Git and a browser are also nice to have.
- Be at least somewhat comfortable with using a terminal.
