GDG Beograd is happy to announce the first online meetup where Bob van Luijt will talk about Knowledge graphs and how his solution Weaviate can help represent concepts and keywords in search.
Weaviate runs on Google Cloud Platform with K8s.
Bob is the founder of SeMI Technologies and chairman of the Creative Software Foundation. He started with the open source knowledge graph Weaviate on March 2016 which has developed into the business SeMI Technologies. Besides SeMI, Bob blogs about technology, design, and business. He is also a frequent speaker about topics like open source and technology.
Weaviate is an open-source, GraphQL, and RESTful API-enabled, search graph based on a graph embedding mechanism called the Contextionary.
Waviate use cases:
> Semantic Search to find on both concepts and keywords.
> Automatic Classification to automatically extend your graph.
> Knowledge Representation to represent information that systems and humans understand.
Core developer features:
> Contextionary - the core graph embedding mechanism (i.e., ML-model) that indexes all data objects.
> GraphQL API - an easy to use interface to query a Weaviate.
> RESTful API - an easy to use interface to populate a Weaviate.
> Containerized - to run it efficiently.
> Scalable - to huge graph sizes.
