About this event

Join us on Monday 2nd December to learn all about submitting to a tech conference. This virtual workshop aims to help attendees to hone their skills in public speaking and get ready to submit an abstract to a tech conference!

No prior knowledge or experience is necessary; just a healthy enthusiasm and a willingness to learn about speaking in public regarding technical, business or work-related topics. New speakers are especially welcome!

The workshop will take place in an inclusive and welcoming environment, taking you all the way from ideas generation through to tips and tricks to make public speaking easier and more effective, to writing a short description of your very own talk! You will also get an insight into the general process for submitting to our 2025 annual IWD conference, and get familiar with the jargon used within the conferencing industry.

Any questions please get in touch with us at wtmbelfast@gmail.com

We look forward to seeing you on the 2nd Dec!
