Session 2: "Building a Machine Learning Model: A Hands-on Approach" is a data science study session that aims to cover the end-to-end process of building a machine learning model. This session will start with data cleaning and preprocessing techniques using Python libraries such as pandas and numpy to get the data ready for modeling. Then, it will cover model selection and evaluation techniques, which include feature selection, model tuning, and performance metrics. Participants will learn to use popular libraries such as scikit-learn and TensorFlow to train and evaluate their models. The session will be hands-on, with a focus on implementing these techniques on a real-world dataset. By the end of the session, participants will have a solid understanding of the process of building a machine learning model, and the tools and techniques needed to implement it.
