Recommendations are everywhere. They influence our choices daily, from movies and music to products and services. But have you ever wondered what's inside a recommender system?

In the first part of the workshop, we will discuss why recommendations are essential in many applications, how different recommenders work and how such algorithms can be evaluated. Then, we'll move to the hands-on part, where you will implement and evaluate your very own ML-based recommender system using real-world data.

This workshop is suitable for participants with no or very little knowledge of Machine Learning. Basic knowledge of Python is expected.
