Topic : Drafting Smart India Hackathon Proposal- Roadmap to be a National Winner

Youtube Live URL : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhWTxyUXR_I

Abstract:
Smart India Hackathon is a nationwide initiative to provide students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. It is being organized since 2017 every year by MHRD.
Every year 2 Lakh+ students, that is 35,000 teams participate. In total 37,000+ ideas are submitted. Out of which only 1300+ teams go for the grand finale, which means 0.037 probability of selection. It sums up as approximately 4 students out of 100 are selected. Not done yet, after reaching the grand finale, only 1 team in the particular problem
statement secures the national winner position.

Now, the question arises, What to do exactly to reach the grand finale of SIH?

Are the technical skills or a special method of presenting your mind on paper, will help us to reach there?

This session will give a complete reference of what it actually takes you to reach the SIH Grand Finale. What should you write in the proposal? How to structure and organize your content?

Agenda :

1. What is SIH?
2. Evaluation Criteria
3. 5 question rule
4. Concentration rule / Reading rule
5. How to draft proposal (intro)
6. Sample ppt by SIH
