About this event

We are excited to partner with Rapido for our August Meetup: Courage in Madness - Migration to Google Cloud from multiple cloud providers

Rapido's Engineering team would be taking you through the journey of a massive transformation that they had gone through migrating 100s of microservices serving mobility and logistics offerings to millions of customers from multiple cloud providers to Google Cloud with very minimal disruption to the business.

There were tons of learnings in this journey, you will get to hear about:

-How they planned the transformation of this scale before even starting the exercise
-How they set business expectations (cost, disruptions, etc.)
-How they build fundamentals first, even before trying to do something of this scale
-How they have to have all checks and balances in place during migration
-How they validated before / during and post-migration to ensure they got it right

They want to make sure others do not make the same mistakes that they did during this journey at the same time share some great tips and tricks on how to manage this efficiently.
