Perfect Timing: Being a DSC Lead Amidst the Pandemic	In a world that's gone virtual, student leaders have no choice but to embrace change and find creative ways to keep the spirit of the DSC clubs alive and fun. Join us for a candid talk on what it's really like to lead and organize events online during these challenging times, where everyone is at their lowest and where there is a clear disconnect between the lead, her core team, and the very students she was meant to do all of this for. We'll share stories, tips, and the secret sauce behind keeping the student community thriving, even when being together in person was not yet an option.
IT'S A MATCH!: Swiping Right for Multidisciplinary Tech with IoT and Data Science	Anything can be made possible with these days, and that included in the world of tech where integration of data science and IoT creates new opportunities for innovation. This talk will present data science strategies and models to enhance IoT applications in areas like smart homes, autonomous vehicles, healthcare, and more. We will demonstrate how data science techniques can optimize IoT devices, uncover insights from sensor data, and enable impactful new IoT capabilities. This talk will also cover how we could find ways to create a more humane approach on technology that embraces an openness for all, tech, non-tech, and in-between, all handled with tender loving care, in the midst of the growing ethical concerns in the blurred lines of data ethics and data justice in tech these days Spoiler Alert: No Dating Apps are harmed during the talk.
Beyond Aesthetics: How to use UX Psychology Principles to Design Effective Landing Pages.	Gift discovered her love for UX Psychology, a mix of design and psychology. Her talk, titled 'Beyond Aesthetics: Using UX Psychology for High-Impact Landing Pages,' will explain the basics of UX Psychology and how they can be applied to landing page design. She will explain key principles such as Reciprocity, Scarcity, and Social Proof, provide real-life examples, and discuss the psychology behind them. She will also share practical tips for integrating these principles into landing pages effectively and the role of psychology in understanding user needs, motivations, and behaviors.
Blockchain Development and Verifiable Programming with ZK	A quick intro into how EVM chains work, its applications and current limitations, as well as a hands-on tutorial in ZK-based programming. (not final, I'm not sure if I go straight to ZK programming or just basic Solidity first, it really depends on the experience level of the audience when it comes to blockchain). I can still do a quick demo of a ZK application tho.
Introduction to KerasNLP	In this talk, I will give an introduction to KerasNLP. We will cover the basics of how to use KerasNLP to build models for NLP tasks. I will also discuss some of the key features of KerasNLP, such as its support for pre-trained word embeddings and its ability to fine-tune pre-trained models.
Securing & Protecting Your Data in the Cloud	Startups, Companies and Consumers leverages on Cloud Services for work, server their product and interact with customer. This Cloud Adoption requires to store, transact and interact data in any shape & form, may it be confidential/sensitive or of public use. This talk focuses on how Google Cloud Platform enforces Security & Data Protection to these Cloud Services to fight against threat and make the consumer's services reliable, trustworthy and highly available.

Compose Multiplatform: Shared UIs with the power of Kotlin Multiplatform	This talk is more of an introduction to Compose Multiplatform and how we'd be able to create multiplatform UIs across Android, iOS, Web, and Desktop using Compose and Kotlin Multiplatform
Firebase Advanced Queries	Perform simple and compound queries in Cloud Firestore. Cloud Firestore provides powerful query functionality for specifying which documents you want to retrieve from a collection or collection group
Supercharge your Flutter apps with Firebase Extensions	In this talk, I will highlight the capabilities of Firebase Extensions and how easy it is to integrate new services like adding search functionality using Algolia and creating a chatbot with PaLM API. I'm going to use Flutter as the client app where we are going to showcase the integration.
