Build with AI events are community-led, hands-on activities hosted by Google Developer Groups and Google Developer Groups on Campus from February 1 to July 31 2025.
These events aim to help developers acquire and apply Generative AI skills to build and integrate applications using the latest Google AI technologies, including AI Studio, the Gemini and Gemma family of models, and Vertex AI.   
Build with AI events include technical workshops with agendas tailored to local attendee skill level and product availability. Developers from all segments (including backend, Android & Flutter developers) and all skill levels can benefit.

5:00 AM	Build and Deploy Multimodal Assistant on Cloud with Gemini (Python)	In this codelab, you will build an application in the form of a chat web interface, in which you can communicate with it, upload some documents or images and discuss them. The application itself is separated into 2 services: frontend and backend; enabling you to build a quick prototype and try what it feels like, and also understand how the API contract looks to integrate both of them.
5:00 AM	Building Multi-modal Chat Applications with Firebase Genkit	Explore building chat applications that utilize Gemini's multi-modal capabilities to interact with diverse data sources. This workshop focuses on using Genkit to create robust pipelines for processing text files, PDFs, and HTML content, enabling contextual chatbot responses. Learn practical techniques for data integration and prompt engineering to enhance document understanding.
5:00 AM	Getting Started with the Gemini API using Python	Getting Started with the Gemini API using Python Introduction to working with the Gemini API in a cloud-hosted Python environment. This codelabs guides users how to use the Python SDK for the Gemini API, which gives you access to Google's Gemini large language models. In this codelabs, you will learn how to: Set up your development environment and API access to use Gemini. Generate text responses from text inputs. Generate text responses from multimodal inputs (text and images). Use Gemini for multi-turn conversations (chat). Use embeddings for large language models.
