GDG Auckland is excited to launch our Women Techmakers program! We're joining the amazing Google community of other Women Techmakers https://www.womentechmakers.com/ For our first event, we're partnering with the Women in Tech Auckland group! We have some amazing speakers lined up who will be sharing with us their non conventional path into the Tech industry and some of their key learnings. Everyone is welcome at this event - you don't need to be part of the Women Techmakers community to attend. Keep an eye out on the page as the speakers will be announced over the next few days! The event will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb 28, at Xero in central Auckland. Doors close at 6:30pm. Our amazing hosts at Xero have provided a safe space for children to hang out, if you'd like to bring your kids along. (Please note you will still be responsible for supervising them.) They do not count towards the attendee limit. We value the participation of each member of our community and want all attendees to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. We look forward to seeing you there! --- RSVPs usually fill up very quickly but only about 50% of people attend. As this event is promoted in partnership across the GDG and Women in Tech Meetup groups, we will be accepting the first people who come to the event, and having RSVP'd is not a guarantee of entry.
