Who doesn't love extension functions? In this talk we'll go over some best practices around using them, as well as use cases for the Kotlin's standard scope functions, followed by a breakdown of how they're implemented and a suggestion for how one might go about creating their own, to better handle null values (suitable for beginner to intermediate Kotlin developers).
