About this event

With over 2 Billion users and growing worldwide, Android is the operating system which powers the world. The flexibility to run on Phones, Tablets, Watches, and much more gives Android a unique home in the software ecosystem. Learning how to create your own apps is an exciting challenge, yet can be overwhelming to start. In this talk we will go through the fundamentals of Android Application Development, so you can begin your journey as an Android Developer.

This talk is from David Hope, who is an Android Developer and has worked for startups and fortune 500 companies, most recently IHG. He has been a part of the Atlanta Android community since 2014 and is the Assistant Organizer for the Google Developer Group Atlanta. In his spare time David enjoys public speaking at Toastmasters International and engaging in all things nerdy.

We will be meeting at TechSquare Labs, which is located on Spring Street near Georgia Tech's Tech Square. If you have any questions, please email [masked] for more information.
