This month we have a special guest all the way from London...Mark Allison (author of https://blog.stylingandroid.com)! We are also partnering with Atlanta Android Club (https://www.meetup.com/Atlanta-Android-Club/) for another amazing meetup mashup.
Mark has a deep love of VectorDrawable. He has spoken at conferences about how to construct and Animate them in his talk entitled “Vector All The Things”.
In this talk, Mark will look at some of the features which have been added to VectorDrawable and its sibling AnimatedVectorDrawable since they first appeared in Android Lollipop 5.0 (API 21). There will be a dive in to fill windings which can cause some baffling rendering oddities, yet can be quite simple to fix once you recognise that fill windings are the cause; There will also be a look at the recently added gradient support; And, of course, there will be plenty of tricks and tips to help with your creation of fabulous VectorDrawables, and amazing Animations.

From https://developers.google.com/groups/ ::
"Google Developer Groups (GDGs) are for developers who are interested in Google's developer technology; everything from the Android, Chrome, Drive, and Google Cloud platforms, to product APIs like the Cast API, Maps API, and YouTube API. A GDG can take many forms -- from just a few people getting together to watch our latest video, to large gatherings with demos and tech talks, to events like code sprints and hackathons. However, at the core, GDGs are focused on developers and technical content, and the core audience should be developers."
