BUILD with AI - Design Atlanta

The goal of the event is to have participants using Google gemini to go through a large scale system design challenge. Where attendees will work together in teams to tackle challenges in Healthcare, Fintech and Ecommerce. Coming out of this the attendees will learn

1. How to Design a scalable system that can handle 1,000,000 users / millions of transactions / second.

2. Design a distributed database system that ensures high availability, reliability, and consistency across multiple data centers and geographic regions.

3. Design a microservices-based architecture that can accommodate a large number of concurrent requests and ensure minimal latency.

Dates: June 12th - 14th; Wednesday - Friday

Time:  6 pm - 9 pm; 

Days 1 & 2: 

Learn the latest AI integration techniques from google experts.

Form teams, brainstorm ideas, and design innovative AI-powered solutions focused on improving Atlanta's Healthcare, Fintech, or ecommerce industry.

Day 3: 

Submit your Design document for a chance to win a prize pool of $2000. Who will take the top 3 spots ?!

The Challenge:

Create and submit a design document tackling a problem in the Healthcare, Fintech or ecommerce industry. Below are the required properties of the document.

• Problem statement - overview of problem being addressed [attendee created] (ex: I am designing a system that solves the problem [ x ] for [ x ] users inside the [ x ] industry.
• Use cases - What are the functional requirements
• List out your assumptions in your proposed design solution
• Number of users?
• Data type / Format ?
• DATA Size?
• Bandwidth
• Architecture Design - high level diagram for how the system is built. Be specific
• APIs : Write out sample Query Request params, SOAP, REST, GRAPHQL, Response
• Pro’s / Con
• Explain your reasoning for why you are using behind all technology
