About this event

Please note! There are TWO versions of this event on the same day - a 12/noon version and a 6pm version. This is the NOON version. You are welcome to attend both, but please check to make sure you are signing up for the right one so we can get a proper head count for the food!

ALSO! This event is co-hosted with the Ann Arbor Machine Learning meetup group (https://www.meetup.com/Machine-Learning-Data-Science-and-Industry/). Please RSVP at one or the other of the groups, but not both!

Join us for TensorFlow Dev Summit 2019 (https://www.tensorflow.org/dev-summit), bringing together a diverse mix of machine learning users from around the world for highly technical talks, demos, and conversations with the TensorFlow team and community.

Event topics are likely to touch on:
TensorFlow 2.0: Best practices + Autograph
TensorFlow Lite
TensorFlow.js
Swift for TensorFlow
TFX: TensorFlow in production with Data Validation, Model Analysis, and Serving
Groundbreaking ML research using TensorFlow and use cases from around the world
...and some new items to be announced later!

This is the premier event focused specifically on TensorFlow, Google's widely popular open source machine learning framework for high performance numerical computation. Its flexible architecture allows easy deployment of computation across a variety of platforms (CPUs, GPUs, TPUs), and from desktops to clusters of servers to mobile and edge devices. Originally developed by researchers and engineers from the Google Brain team within Google’s AI organization, it comes with strong support for machine learning and deep learning and the flexible numerical computation core is used across many other scientific domains.

Keith Bourne, founder of Gradient Valley, will be the one to hit the power on the TV and connect his laptop so we can watch the actual Keynote from Sunnydale, CA. But afterwards, Keith will guide a discussion about the topics discussed at the event and what it means to future machine learning development.

Please join us for food and refreshments at 12:00 noon, sponsored by Google and GDG. The keynote is scheduled to start at 12:30pm.

Schedule:
12:00pm - Food and networking!
12:30pm - Livestream of Keynote from Sunnydale, CA
1:30pm-2:00pm discussion about Keynote topics
