10:00 AM	Building for Web3 through current protocols - A path to a decentralized Web.	With a number of existing real-world use cases for blockchain technology and specifically for Ethereum, it’s evident that the era of Web3 isn’t theoretical. The internet, the global economy, and governments have yet to fully realize the vision of Web3. Still, in 2019, the paradigm shift is already well underway. In this talk, we would look at significant progress already being made to address the above-mentioned technical challenges with innovative solutions, how the vision of Web3 as a true competitor to Web2 is moving closer to realization and how to build for Web3 on the current protocols.
10:30 AM	Optimal Face Detection for Web Apps Using Cloud Vision	Often we need to ensure input data integrity so we do validations. For sensitive applications like banking or fintech apps which require a user photo, you want to ensure a user is sending an actual human face. While there are various ways this can be implemented, some of them tend to use a lot of compute resources including memory and storage. This workshop is about how we can leverage Cloud Vision to validate input photos in a way that uses minimal resources even on mobile devices.
11:00 AM	Building Realtime Applications with Firebase's Realtime Database	It's basically to show people (frontend developers most especially) how to use Firebase's Realtime Database to build applications. What I'd be demonstrating basically is the power of Firebase Realtime Database and how it saves the stress of building a backend from scratch. In the workshop, I'd have a chat application (without the chatting functionality) on two platforms : web and mobile (the apps would have been built already), and then show how to configure Real time Database to chat on the apps, so that when a message is sent from the web app, the mobile app would receive it in realtime and respond it to and vice versa.

12:00 PM	Android for Everyone: Getting Started with Jetpack Compose	Compose is a new declarative UI toolkit for building compelling user interfaces quickly, easily, and completely in Kotlin. It combines a fantastic and powerful language that has modern features like functional programming paradigms, conciseness, and readability with a fantastic and powerful framework that’s intuitive to learn with familiar architecture patterns from other declarative frameworks and fun to use. And all of this without a line of rogue XML! In this session, we’ll start with the some history of Jetpack Compose, Android, and declarative UIs and then get our hands into some code. We’ll build an app from the ground up and talk about composable functions - the building blocks of the UI, how to take our UI and make it beautiful and accessible, how to use and manage state, and how to add navigation.
12:30 PM	Building Intelligence into your application	This talk will introduce participants to the field of machine learning and intelligent applications. Participants will learn what ML is, how they can use and benefit from it, as well as some practical guide for getting started in the field.
1:00 PM	Data Science on Google Cloud - A Guided Tour	Thanks to recent advances in techniques and technology, data science is now more accessible than ever. This talk reflects on the growth of data science, the Cloud, and the march of abstraction layers. In the second half, we’ll make things concrete by walking through a project to mine and visualize data from the richest corpus of general knowledge ever published: Wikipedia.
