About this event

Chris Van Arsdale leads Google Research’s Climate & Energy group. Chris will be visiting Australia in July / August. Come along to this session to learn more about the breadth of Google's climate (both mitigation and adaptation) & energy research. Examples of this work include:

Chris studied Physics and Computer Science at the University of Washington, and has since led many large scale computing, remote sensing, and information retrieval projects inside Google. Chris has previously worked in venture capital before focusing on Climate Change research.
