About this event

Australian Hearing Initiative (AHI) is an ambitious collaboration between teams at Google and world leading organisations in the hearing accessibility field. Current hearing aids work well in relatively quiet environments but fail to provide adequate support in acoustically complex environments such as social settings where they are most required. The AHI projects are focused on new applications of computational modelling and machine learning to develop listening and communications technologies that overcome this limitation, with a focus on more customised/precision hearing healthcare.
