It's no more a secret that Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we live and work, like never before, revolutionizing the world around us. India, home to over a million developers are openly embracing the power of AI across different sectors. Contributing to this larger idea of building an “AI empowered India”, Google has launched Machine Learning (ML) Study Jam Series to enable a platform to learn for ML enthusiasts.

In the pre-session of ML Study Jam at GDGAhmedabad, you will get the basics of Machine Learning, Regression, Classification, it's real-life applications and frameworks to be used. Apart from it, you will explore the hands-on session of Deep Learning which is the current trending sub-field of ML.

Prerequisites:

Do join with your fully charged laptops with battery backup, Internet and a can-do attitude!

We highly recommend you to go through and complete following materials to understand Machine Learning concepts well.

* Mastery of intro-level algebra:
- comfortable with variables and coefficients
- linear equations
- graphs of functions
- histograms
(Familiarity with more advanced math concepts such as logarithms and derivatives is helpful, but not required.)

* Proficiency in programming basics, and some experience coding in Python:
You should feel comfortable reading and writing Python code (https://www.python.org/) that contains basic programming constructs, such as function definitions/invocations, lists and dicts, loops, and conditional expressions.
