Animations can add subtle visual cues that notify users about what’s going on in your app and improve their mental model of your app’s interface. Google has blessed us with awesome support for Animation in Android and two amazing speakers for that matter, Romain Guy and Chet Haase, ironically both are on Android Graphics Team.
