TALK ABSTRACT
Write your date picker in React, use it in VueJS or even Angular – come learn how close we are to achieving this dream! And does that mean you don’t really need a framework any longer?

In this session, we will swiftly walk through the what, why and how of web components. After that, we'll explore portability, i.e. how easy it is to use web components in your favorite frameworks, and how simple each framework makes it to convert its own proprietary components into universal web components. We will conclude by looking at the biggest pure players in the field and a discussion about whether frameworks are needed at all.

Filip is a frontend geek focusing on delivering great user-experiences to the end-user. He is a Google Developer Expert (in web technologies) and the CTO at Colibo, building a Workplace Integration Hub. Here in Aarhus, Filip runs the local Javascript Meetup group.
