Join us, February 24th for Google’s annual Hash Code Coding competition. Depending on the Corona restrictions, we will hopefully meet in ORBIT Lab to compete together.

We will also meet on our Discord server, so you can participate remotely. Last year we were the #1 hub in the world (with 4 or more teams) out of 490 total, and several teams almost qualified for the finals – let’s see if we can do even better this year! :)

ABOUT GOOGLE HASH CODE

Hash Code is a team programming competition, organized by Google, for students and professionals around the world. You pick your team and programming language and Google picks an engineering problem for you to solve.

This year’s contest kicks off with an Online Qualifications round, where your team can compete virtually from wherever you would like, alongside your virtual Hub. Top teams will then be invited to compete in the virtual World Finals.

Google’s team-based programming competition, Hash Code, allows you to share your skills and connect with other coders as you work together to solve a problem modelled off a real Google engineering challenge!

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Everybody is welcome, However, this competition is most relevant to people with developer skills.

This event will be in English.

LOCATION

ORBIT Lab, Finlandsgade 28, 8200 Aarhus N (if restrictions allow)/online.

COVID GUIDELINES

Participants who take part in the event on campus must adhere to the current public health guidelines. Before the event, we will inform you of any specific potential restrictions and guidelines.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Form a team of 2–4 people. Register with your Google account on the official Hash Code registration site:

When you register your team, choose ORBIT Lab as “Hub”. You must be 16 or above to compete.

Registration is open until February 23rd at 12 am.
