Hello friends and fellow developers! 🖐️
We're beyond excited to announce that our annual Google I/O Extended event, hosted by your very own GDG 3City, is happening on July 13th, 5 PM at Gdański Park Naukowo-Technologiczny. This year, we're going all out with a series of enthralling talks that cover a broad spectrum of topics.
To kick things off, Jarosław Michalik will be serving up "Practical recipes for idiomatic Kotlin" 🍽️. A deep dive into Kotlin's expressive syntax and sophisticated type system, this talk is set to equip you with the tools to write cleaner, more reliable Kotlin code.
Next in line, Mohsen Rezania will be leading us on a "Deep dive into Convention Plugins: Sharing Build Logics and Integrating Detekt for Static Code Analysis". This talk is all about harnessing the power of convention plugins in multi-module Android projects and leveraging Detekt for enforcing code quality.
We're also stirring up an engaging debate on "AI in software developer's work. A chance or a threat?" 🤖. Bring your thoughts, perspectives, and a readiness to explore this fascinating topic with your fellow developers.
Rounding off our speaker lineup, we are excited to present Stanisław Tokarski. He will be sharing his journey, "From a rebellious individualist reinventing the wheel to a knowledge-sharing enthusiast". This insightful reflection will explore the value of mentoring in the programming field. Please note, this speech will be conducted exclusively in Polish.
And did we mention that we're keeping up the tradition of pizza and prizes? 🍕🎁 There's nothing like a slice of pizza and a chance to win cool prizes to complement an evening of learning and networking.
Whether you're a GDG 3City veteran or a first-timer, we can't wait to welcome you to this grand tech fiesta! So, mark your calendars and get ready for an enriching, fun-filled, and memorable experience. Looking forward to seeing you there!
