Hey there, GDG 3City enthusiasts! 🚀 We're back with another exciting meet-up, planned for August 22, 2023, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Brace yourselves for a unique Android workshop and more! 📱👩‍💻👨‍💻

We're gathering in Room 010 (Building B) in Gdansk Science and Technology Park for an enriching session with Piotr Prus, a dedicated Android Developer and the latest addition to the Google Developer Experts. Notably, Piotr is also the co-founder of GDG 3City, our very own community! 🎉 From starting as a mobile tech enthusiast during the First Maemo and Android days to transitioning into Android development from a career in Civil Engineering, Piotr's journey is a tale of passion for IT solutions. His recent achievement as a Google Developer Expert underscores his commitment to the tech community and we're excited for him to share his insights with us.

Piotr is inviting us for workshops titled "Join the Shader Hype" ✨ Android Graphics Shading Language (AGSL) is a newly added feature for Android developers and users. Runtime shaders as such exist in computer graphics since 1988! There are a lot of examples of shaders that we can reuse instead of creating a new one. If you would like to add one of these to your app and amaze your users and product owners, join this workshop. I will show you step-by-step how to add beautiful shaders from the web into your view. No shader knowledge is needed, Almost 🙂

This workshop is designed to be an engaging, hands-on experience. Bring your laptop to follow along with Piotr's practical demonstrations 📚💻. Whether you're an established Android dev or just stepping onto this path, you're bound to gain valuable insights. If you however just prefer to watch others coding, that's fine too - we are happy to have you!
