Join us on October 10th in the Google Detroit office located in Little Caesars Arena for an exclusive, hands on Anthos event hosted and delivered by Google.
What is Anthos? Anthos is a modern application management platform that provides a consistent development and operations experience both in the cloud and in your on-premises environments. Built on open-source technologies pioneered by Google, including Kubernetes and Istio, Anthos allows you to build once to run anywhere.
In this workshop, you will gain extensive hands-on experience with services and components that make up Anthos. The workshop covers:
• Building and managing Kubernetes clusters in Hybrid environments
• Ensuring consistency in policy and configuration of Hybrid Kubernetes environments
• Building multicluster Istio service mesh in Hybrid Kubernetes environments
• Application migration and service mesh observability
Google engineers will be on hand throughout the day to help participants with the labs and to answer 1:1 questions.
Prerequisites:
Laptop, basic Kubernetes experience

Logistics:
Parking can be validated if you use the Henry Street Garage, refer to the address below.
The Henry Street Garage located at 128 W Fisher Service Dr, Detroit, MI 48201.
Once you have parked you will need to enter Little Caesars arena using the Google entrance which is located on the south side of the building (head north-east from the garage), you will see a large Google sign above the entrance, it is visible when you exit the garage.
LCA security will ask you to pass through a metal detector. Once you are cleared, you will proceed to the elevator and head to the 4th floor, where a Google team member will greet you and escort you to the room.
