📍 GDGoC FPTU HCMC - Google Developer Group on Campus FPT University HCMC is implementing the orientation of becoming a place to nurture Google Developer Experts in the future. To build a human resource framework according to the above orientation, GDGoC FPTU is currently recruiting Core Members for the Club with the following information:

⏩Number of Core Members recruited: 10 Core Members. Including 07 Core Members of TechSquad and 03 Core Members of Non-Tech.

⏩Applicants: Must be official members of GDGoC FPTU. At the same time, meet the criteria stated in "Core Members Job Description". Click on the following link to see detailed information!

⏩ Application registration period: 19/11/2024 to 22/11/2024.

⏩ Application form: Build a mini project and an event to promote the project content on the day of presenting the product participating in the competition.

⏩ Time to start implementing communication for the application event: From 01/12/2024 to 04/12/2024.

⏩ Time to present the product applying: From 06/12/2024 to 07/12/2024.

⏩ Application results announcement date: 08/12/2024.

⏩ Team formation plan, Professional limitations, and Suggested content of selected topics to apply:

1. Team formation plan

TechSquad Core Member and Non-Tech Core Member demonstrate their connecting ability to call for cooperation and become Co-hosts of the project. Then the host and Co-host use relationships and social media to invite people to join their team and together to create useful products. Team participants can be members of GDGoC FPTU who do not apply for the Core Member, students of any major of FPTU, or other colleges and universities.

TechSquad Core Member applicants may not need to combine with Non-Tech Core Member applicants to implement the project. But the result will not be added to 2 scores (Connecting).

A Non-Tech member can participate in 2 projects. The result will be the average score of 2 projects plus 2 scores (Connecting).

The team with more members participating in building the product will have a higher connecting score. (The total maximum Connecting score is 10 points).

2. Expertise limitations and suggested topic content:

The purpose of limiting expertise is for candidates to focus on their ability to create and apply basic and common technology knowledge to life. Expertise will focus on 02 main topics. One is combining Google Workspace and App Script. The other uses the simple features of Google technologies (Angular, Firebase, Vertex, Google Cloud,...)

  • Build Project Mini by combining Google Workspace with App Script to create common applications in life.
  • Build Project Mini by using Google technologies (For example: Angular, Firebase, Vertex, Google Cloud, ...) to create simple and common applications

⏩ Evaluation criteria:

  1. 1. Pre-Event:
  • Slides, Content (30% total scores): Complete, clear, practical.
  • Member, Task management report  (20% total scores): Clear work assignment, level of work completion, member roles.
  1. 2. In-Event:
  • Agenda (10% total scores): Reasonable, clear, and suitable for a workshop.
  • Time management (10% total scores): The event takes place according to the Agenda.
  • Event monitor, teamwork (10% total scores): Reasonable event coordination, create a fun atmosphere in sharing knowledge.
  1. 3. Post-Event:
  • Feedback (20% total scores): Average score is calculated based on feedback from workshop participants
