As someone who is still new to cybersecurity, I am beginning to understand how important networking can be for learning and career growth. I have not had many opportunities to build professional connections yet, but joining this community is one of my first steps toward meeting people who share similar interests.
I think one of the most effective ways to build meaningful connections is by being active and genuinely interested in learning. Participating in discussions, asking questions, attending tech events, joining student tech groups, and connecting with people who have more experience can help beginners learn and discover new opportunities.
For me, networking is not just about finding job opportunities. It is also about learning from other people's experiences, getting advice, sharing ideas, and gradually building relationships within the tech community. As I continue my studies and explore cybersecurity, I hope to become more confident in networking and make connections that can support my growth in the field.
