Hi Jai! This is a great initiative. As a psychology student focusing on Cognitive UX, I believe accessibility goes beyond physical infrastructure to include reducing cognitive load and mental friction for attendees. I’d love to volunteer and help review the event flows or content layout to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.

Hi Zahra, thank you for your response! I actually wanted to clarify something specific regarding accessibility. I’m an attendee with a physical disability, and my father will be accompanying me as my caregiver/attendant. Could you please let me know whether he can accompany me under my pass, or whether he needs a separate event pass? I couldn’t find any caregiver/companion option during registration. Thank you!

thank you for sharing this! Just to clarify, I'm an attendee and independent UX researcher, not one of the event organizers. However, your point highlights an essential aspect of accessibility for the organizers to consider. I recommend reaching out directly to the GDG Raipur team via the 'Contact Organizer' button on the main page so they can assist you with your pass details!

I tried to reach them but I didn't hear back from them

Sorry, I didn’t see your message earlier. Maybe they’re not available today, or perhaps it’s outside their working hours. You could try contacting them once again later. Hopefully, you’ll hear back this time

Hi Jai!

Hasan here from the GDG Raipur Organizing Team.

Yes! In this case, you can bring a companion/caregiver/parent with you free of cost. You only need to buy 1 pass for yourself.

GDG Raipur welcomes you wholeheartedly, and I’ll personally make sure we can give you the best experience possible. Our community thrives on inclusivity and accessibility.

We have noted your name, M. Jai Manikanta, and 1 free entry will be allotted to you on the event day.
